Patricia McCarthy Larsen, 81, of Hagerstown, Md., died Thursday, May 15, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born May 6, 1933, in Warren, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William Hugh and Inez Ellen (Christensen) McCarthy. She was a 1951 graduate of Warren High School.

She was a homemaker.

Patricia was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Hagerstown. She was a member of the Potomac Edison Forerunners Club.

She was a longtime leader of the Maugansville Girls 4-H Club.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Raymond H. Larsen; two daughters, Barbara Rippeon and husband, Jeff, and Crissy Cline, all of Hagerstown; seven grandchildren, Toni Lewis and husband, Chad, Christopher Fritts and wife, Laura, Matthew Metzger and fiancee, Kim Gray, Laura Rippeon, Josh Cline, Amber Cline and Cody Rippeon; and two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Felicia.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Chaplain Mike Simane officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 19, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
