George F. “Gus” Henicle, 75, of Hagerstown, Md., formerly of Waynesboro, Pa., passed away peacefully on July 23, 2014.
George was the devoted husband of Joyce Henicle.
George was a strong man, with a quick and playful sense of humor, who consistently made people smile. He was blessed to love his job at Potomac Edison, where he worked for 40 years. When George retired in 1999, he continued to enjoy his life. He kept himself busy with his large garden, swimming with his pool buddies, and visiting his many faithful friends.
In addition to his wife Joyce, George is survived by a son, Scott of Hagerstown; a daughter, Lori Kleppe and her husband, Kevin, of East Windsor, N.J.; and two grandchildren, Hope and Payton, who loved him dearly.
Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
