Ann Carmen “Patsy” Kline, age 87, of Waynesboro, VA and formerly of Petersburg, WV died Thursday, February 13, 2020 in Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA.

She was born on March 18, 1932 in Petersburg, WV and was the daughter of the late Clarence Edgar Kline and Lula Merle (Keller) Kline.

“Patsy” Kline is survived by several cousins including Barbara (Ketterman) McDonald and husband Donald of Harrisonburg, VA.

Ms. Kline was a 1949 graduate of Petersburg High School. She worked as a telephone operator on Water Street in Petersburg and also was a salesclerk for Harman & Company. Later she worked for Potomac Edison in Petersburg and was transferred to Romney, WV and retired in 1987 after 32 years and was a member of the PEforerunners Club. She was a member of the Petersburg Presbyterian Church and member of the choir. She played the piano for Sunday School for several years. After moving to Waynesboro, Virginia, “Patsy” was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro.

Graveside services will be Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Petersburg, WV with Dr. Bruce Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.

A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro, VA at a later date.
