Patricia Ann (Stalnaker) Fender, 86, of Hedgesville, WV and formerly of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.
She was born on December 26, 1935 in Weston, WV to the late James William and Hattie Lloyd (Johnson) Stalnaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William Noel Fender in 1995.
Patricia was a graduate of Weston High School in Weston, WV.
At the time of her retirement, she was employed by Potomac Edison.
She was a member of St. James Brethren Church in Fairplay, MD.
Patricia was also a member of the Women’s Club of Hagerstown; Potomac Edison Forerunners; and the Stalnaker Family Association.
She was an avid WVU and Washington Redskins football fan. She loved to read, put together jigsaw puzzles, and vacation at the ocean.
She is survived by her daughter Lori Liller Arnold of Allison Park, PA; daughter Cynthia Wood and her husband John E. Wood, Jr. of Hedgesville, WV; sister Lewanna McDonald of Williamsport, MD; grandsons Samuel P. Arnold of Pittsburgh, PA, William D. Arnold of Allison Park, PA, and Trey L. Green of Hedgesville, WV.
Burial will be private.
